Sometimes all you need is a weekend away to feel renewed and relaxed, hmm? We spent the past weekend with friends at the Oregon coast and it was so nice to unplug for awhile- play scrabble instead of watch tv or click away on the laptop, eat homemade meals instead of take-out and best of all, walk along the beach that was right outside their door! And to top it off, we had crystal clear skies and calm winds, which is pretty much unheard of in Oregon in Dec, so it felt pretty special. I wish we could go out of town every weekend!
