I'm busy Miss Modishing today :) but I wanted to share my new desk view with you!
My first purchase from the dream office list arrived yesterday- a bamboo dry erase board from three by three! I hung it vertically, which I wasn't planning on, but I think it works better that way for how I like to list my to-dos.
Today's the first day I'm using it and I already love it. I really like the change from a paper to-do list to writing them up on the board. Now it's as if I feel my to-do's looming over my shoulder like a micro-managing boss, reminding me constantly to re-focus and work down the list- I like that. I'm crazy, I know.
And some friends joining the new fancy schmants to-do keeper? My trusty wall pocket bulletin board from Shim & Sons, Fieldguided's kitty calendar, and a gocco print by Amanda Blake. I wanna fill the whole wall with art and stuff to gaze off at when I need some good thinkin time. I'm a quiet/gazing/thinker-type, especially when I'm in the middle of writing, and I'd love a wall full of fun stuff to stare at and get inspired by.
This view from the desk sure isn't bad to stare off into either! Spring is starting to pop up out there, slowly but surely.
ps: that brown trim around the windows is not staying, it's a remnant from the last owner that we just haven't gotten around to changing yet. I think it looks way too 70's with our yellow walls. I'd like to paint all the trim white! Someday!
