I felt like making something this past weekend, but wasn't sure what. For inspiration, I hopped onto the diy section of Honestly, WTF and instantly found my project- this woven chain bracelet.
{from project by Honestly, WTF- the bracelet they made}
I didn't have a bracelet to work with but I did have this funky metal chain necklace that I got at a thrift store and have never actually worn. I do like it, but it's a little too much metal for me, I think- it just feels too 80's or something as is. So weaving in some pretty thread seemed the perfect solution for stepping it up to this century a bit!
I chose some bright, summery colors for the thread because it's been so dark & dreary here lately!
Check out the easy tutorial over at Honesty, WTF to give it a try yourself!
