My dear sweet friend Ronit's birthday was this past weekend and I just knew I wanted to try and paint her something- but what? A kitty! I thought. One of her kitties! Ok, not so easy...
So this was my attempt at painting her fluffy black kitty, Pinot. Somehow it became little Pinot in her imaginary parlor, reminiscing about her trip to the beach- hah! I don't know how... I do know that it was a lovely way to spend a long Saturday afternoon and I'm liking painting more and more each time I try it, so thanks for giving me a good excuse, lady R!

PS: for her birthday, Ronit had a "nail polish party" on a Sunday afternoon- we all brought polish to share and did manicures while we drank pink prosecco. So fun!
