I first fell in love with Teenangster Alison Feldmann's style from her posts on the etsy storque- she always discovers the most interesting things which are sometimes a little kooky, a little morbid, a little dark- but I really like that side of her because it's well tempered with the side of her that just likes cute cats. Her blog, Teenagster, is dangerous for me because I can get lost for hours down the myriad rabbit holes she uncovers about everything from fashion to poetry to snake charming.

Where do you live? In a blue apartment in Brooklyn, New York
Where do you blog from? My couch! I'm big into making a huge pillow pile, arranging my cats around me and going to town.
How long have you been blogging? I've been blogging in some capacity for about five years, professionally for three (go Etsy Blog!), and on my personal blog, TeenAngster, for almost a year. Crazy! Time flies.
What's one of the oddest/sweetest/craziest or most memorable comments you've ever received? I've received so many funny, sweet and odd comments (weirdos always seem to find me), but a recent heartwarming, butterfly-inducing comment I received is from Awina:
"I’ve just spent a few minutes trying to write out, as eloquently as possible, why your website is pretty much ideal. No success. Eloquently put or not, I really love it. It’s the perfect balance of everything that interests me that I can’t seem to find anywhere else. So incredibly happy i found it."

What's one of your favorite posts/or fave series on your blog & why? Hrrm. I have many posts I love, but a recent favorite documents snake handling, also known as "taking up serpents," as inspired by my recent reading of Salvation on Sand Mountain: Snake-Handling and Redemption in Southern Appalachia. It's such a release to integrate the things I'm digging on a more literary level into a visual space like my blog; inspiration comes from many sources. It almost felt like a college paper, but in a fun way! (Can you tell I was an overachieving English major?) I think I'm going to start a "book report" series for the future to catalog all of the things I'm reading, as interpreted through art or photography.

Who are 3 other blogstars, in your book? Oh, this is so hard! So many amazing blogs out there, and interesting people behind them.
Melissa Dixson of Melissa Dixson Taxidermy — She's a taxidermist, she's an art and style blogger, and if it's cool or strange, she'll find it! You never know what she'll post next, which I view as a great quality. I also own a fox tail from her, which is my favorite thing to attach to my bag.
Kate Miss of For Me, For You — I've been reading Kate's blog for what seems like forever. She always keeps it fresh with her distinct aesthetic eye. She also is the best at blending her finds, her art and her life into one cohesive, approachable experience. Meeting her in person only cemented my love for her blog.
Kelly Rakowski of Nothing is New — Kelly finds the most amazing, "why didn't I think of that?" things on the internet and opens my mind's eye to the infinite historical possibilities that exist on the internet and elsewhere (she does a great job of scouring archives and libraries, too). There's just so much out there to investigate.
