Although blackberry bushes are notorious for taking over backyards and empty lots all across Portland (and probably anywhere else it's nice and moist), I really love them! They may be pervasive, but they're damn delicious and I'm excited to have some growing in my new yard.
Blackberries dipped in homemade whipped cream is almost as close to heaven on earth as I've found, but I have a feeling that we're gonna have a whole lotta blackberries once they start ripening, so I need some other ideas of ways to use them...
