The spring collection from Pravina studio was just released, and it's looking mighty fine!
Their bags are chic and classic, from pretty pleated purses to large and in charge totes with contrast stitching. Available in beautiful shades that'll take you from spring into summer, they're pretty perfect for the warmer days ahead. See the whole collection in the Pravina shop!

Brittni over at Paper n Stitch let me know about some new participants in this month's exhibition, and I instantly fell hard for Oishii's gorgeous knit caplets! They're feminine and so pretty with a kinda vintage feel- the perfect extra layer to add a burst of color to your outfit while keeping you warm on a crisp spring morning. Totally love them.
Have you seen Udessi yet? I've been browsing through all morning and it's gorgeous, I can't get enough!
Host to art and craft items made by some phenomenal Australian talents, Udessi has a wonderful collection, all of which is photographed and styled to perfection. It's run by Kim Wallace, a fantastic ceramacist who also sells her work there (that's her gorgeous vintage lace dish in the upper left!) The entire shop is a real treat for the eyes and I'm thrilled to see another option that focuses on Australian art and artists.

Now that spring is in full effect here in Portland, I've been feeling the lure of a cute spring hat, as knit beanies won't be cuttin' it for much longer. Lucky for me, I just stumbled onto Terry Graziano's new spring/summer line and it's totally rockin' my socks off!
Not only are all the hats adoooorable, they are super versatile too! Each design is so ingenious that you can wear it in at least 3 different ways- go from fedora to cloche, beret to sailor cap! No matter what style you choose, you're sure to be looking chic and ready for whatever the warm days and crisp nights of spring will bring. Now, which one will go with my big hair... hmm...
Moop is having a seconds sale on some of their bags, yahoo! You can get awesome discounts on your favorites that are discontinued styles or colors or have tiny flaws- check it out in their supermarket shop!
And while you're in the Moop mood, you crafters may be interested in their new shop, Five Yards, where they're offering 5 yard cuts of their overstock fabric. Most of the fabric has been upcycled from wholesale fabric jobbers who collect overruns directly from textile mills. The Moop folks want to be able to offer the same awesome fabric they use in thier bags to other talented makers who may not have access to fabric/textile districts like they do. Nice, huh?
I love love this beautiful blossom series of watercolor pieces by Canadian art shop, Siiso. They're so dynamic and layered with so much awesome color. They remind me of the spring scenes we have popping up here in Portland where it seems we have an (almost) unfair amount of stunning color, bursting forth all around us.

Today's Handmade Space is from Munich based artist, Stephanie Levy. We've seen a peek into her studio before, from about a year ago, but these photos are much different, basically just showing her work table in various stages of creation. It's messy and colorful and wonderful and I think it's a privilege to get a little behind the scenes glimpse into how she creates her art- so, let's get to it!
See Stephanie's beautiful completed artwork in her etsy shop, and also be sure to check out her artists who blog site where she features interviews with some other great artists.
And as always, see more beautiful glimpes into creative people's creative places, in the Handmade Spaces flickr pool!
Wish You Were Here is a UK based husband and wife team who creates awesome patterned designs, and they just released them on some fabric- oooooh... And then they hand-made adorable cushions out of that fabric, with even more adorable custom designed acrylic buttons as closure- oooh-la-la!
Take a closer peek at these and the other designs they have available as prints, at Wish You Were Here!

It's been a lovely week of green finds, thanks for joining me! I hope you're off to a relaxing and sunshiney weekend! I have a lot of work to do this weekend (doh!) but hopefully I'll get out to enjoy a bit of sunshine at least. We also have plans for some thrift store shopping because last weekend I scored, major, and am itching for it again!
See you back 'round here Monday. Until then, here are some links for you to enjoy.

Steve Bender, Southern Living's Grumpy Gardener, asked 9 other blogger gardeners (blogdeners? garbloggers?), "What six plants, if eliminated from the Universe, would drive you to the brink of despair?" This past Monday they all answered. Albeit, some answers were more succinct than others; one gardener, I swear, tried to make a connection between their garden and Kevin Bacon.)
The list is varied, absolutely gorgeous, and packed with inspiration. It's been a couple years since I've added to my flower beds, aside from the annual veggies that get poked into the gaps. This was just the prodding I needed to think about the more ornamental flowers again.
Check out that gorgeous, buttery yellow peony nestled among orange Welsh poppies. Luscious. Hoe and Shovel's Meems make ordinary caladiums look extraordinary, while Frances of Fairegarden points out the benefits of her choices to attract wildlife to the space.

I'm still floundering on my 6 must haves, but what are yours?
Renee Garner has a passion to make things grow, although her brownish
thumb wants her to believe otherwise. When mud pies aren't on the menu,
you can find her doodling the days away at Wolfie and the Sneak.
Well, it's been a good week full of eco-friendly finds, hmm? Our last one for the week is a long time favorite of mine that I'm surprised I haven't featured here yet, Vivien Cheng!
Vivien creates beautiful revamped vintage bags and purses, turning blah thrift
store bags into beautiful hand-painted signature pieces. Ooh la la. They're eco-friendly, GORgeous and one-of-a-kind. All qualities that make for a pretty perfect bag in my book!
See more lovely designs over on Vivien's site and purchase them in her etsy shop, or the other online retailers listed here.

No, these aren't creatures wrangled from the deep blue depths of the ocean... the items you see below are bowls, jewelry and more created by hand by Gulnur Ozdaglar, a very innovative artist from Turkey, out of PET bottles. Yep, they're just recycled plastic bottles taken to a very beautiful degree!
Eventhough all the pieces seem like they belong in an art museum, they're actually usable, wearable pieces for you and your home. See more stunning creations by Gulnur on her blog and purchase some in the Tertium Non Data shop!
Oooh, I love these little dress earrings from Shixie, made out of recycled tin! I love the cut of them, the bits of wear on the edges, how the "hangers" are actually ear posts, wow! They're so original and so adorable, perfect little vintage dresses made from little bits of vintage tin. I wish I could find real dresses that look like some of these. See more colors and patterns over in the Shixie shop!
Today is Earth Day! Have you entered the Cosa Verde & Modish Earth Day Giveaway yet?
